IAP joins national bus tour to demand an end to noncitizen voting

The Immigration Accountability Project is joining the Tea Party Patriots and other Only Citizens Vote Coalition partners for a nationwide bus tour to demand that Congress pass the SAVE Act and end noncitizen voting.

The SAVE Act, introduced by Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) in the house and Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) in the Senate, would require proof of citizenship when registering to vote and require states to implement a plan to remove noncitizen voters from their rolls. The House approved the bill earlier this year with bipartisan support, but the Senate has yet to bring it to the floor for a vote.
