WALL Act of 2025

This bill appropriates $25,000,000,000 for the border wall. The amount is offset by requiring the social security number (SSN) of the filer and qualifying child for child tax credits, requring an SSN for earned income tax credit and American Opportunity and Lifelong Learning credits, placing a fee on filing tax returns with an ITIN, requiring Social Security to verify SSN numbers submitted are valid, and requiring the use of E-Verify to restrict unauthorized access to unemployment compensation, supplemental nutrition assistance, and housing benefits.

Finally, the bill establishes criminal penalties and minimum fines for visa overstays.
