Stop Illegal Reentry Act

This bill establishes stronger criminal penalties for illegal aliens who reenter the country after being removed (up to 5 years from 2). Certain criminal aliens, including those with multiple criminal convictions, felons, and those with multiple illegal reentries, face prison sentences of up to 10 years. Finally, the bill establishes a 5-year mandatory minimum prison sentence for aliens convicted of an aggravated felony or multiple convictions for illegal reentry, with possible imprisonment of up to 20 years.
