Safeguarding American Tourism Act

This bill seeks to exempt passenger vessels with 800 or more berths (cruise ships) from certain requirements of the Passenger Vessel Services Act , the Jones Act , and specific crew citizenship rules when transporting passengers between U.S. ports , and it also adjusts regulations for alien crewmen landing temporarily in the United States.
