End Unaccountable Amnesty Act

This bill makes various changes to address executive amnesty and overreach in immigration law-

  • Amends temporary protected status (TPS) to require designations by Congress instead of the President, limits designations to 1 year with extensions up to a year by an Act of Congress, and blocks illegal aliens from TPS;
  • Closes the legal loopholes for unaccompanied alien children (UACs) so they can be treated like aliens from contiguous countries, requires DHS to initiate removal proceedings against illegal alien sponsors of UACs, and patches the loophole allowing aliens who have a parent in the U.S. to receive special immigrant juvenile (SIJ) status;
  • Repeals cancellation of removal;
  • Blocks the use of the CBP One app, notices to appear (NTAs), and notices to report (NTRs) from being used to board aircraft; and
  • Reforms parole to end categorical parole and cap it at 1,000 a year, guarantee it is only used on a case-by-case basis for actual humanitarian cases, and blocks work authorization for parolees other than family members of Armed Forces members or Cuban parolees.
