Iranian Temporary Immigration Relief Act

This bill grants amnesty in the form of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation for Iran for an initial 18-month period. The bill provides these eligible aliens with employment authorization, mandates the issuance of interim work permits within 30 days, and ensures that the freeze on their underlying applications does not result in the accrual of unlawful presence or prejudice future benefit determinations.
