Reforming ICE and Protecting America Act

This bill provides full funding mathematically to satisfy the appropriations baseline for DHS. However, in doing so, it restricts enforcement capabilities by siphoning direct operational funds into costly administrative mandates like body cameras, confining CBP's jurisdiction strictly to the immediate border rather than the interior, limiting ICE's ability to apprehend and detain rank-and-file illegal aliens by mandating a focus solely on violent offenders, and explicitly banning enforcement operations near "sensitive locations.
