Veteran Service Recognition Act of 2025

This bill creates a military advisory board to review immigration cases involving veterans of the armed forces and requires them to make a recommendation regarding their removal before DHS can deport. It also requires DHS to take into account prior military service in deciding whether to initiate and complete removal of veterans. The bill also requires DHS and DOD to create a program that affords each member of the Armed Forces the opportunity to adjust their status.
