Deporting Fraudsters Act of 2026

This bill establishes that any alien who defrauds the U.S. government or unlawfully receives public benefits is inadmissible and deportable.

Amended: Under the updated text, an alien may be deported not just for a conviction, but simply for admitting to the essential elements of fraud (such as welfare or identity fraud). Furthermore, the bill explicitly strips these aliens of eligibility for any immigration relief, including asylum.
