Checkpoint Modernization Act

This bill authorizes and appropriates funds for the U.S. Border Patrol to renovate, and in some cases relocate or construct new, interior immigration checkpoints. These checkpoints are used for interdicting illegal aliens and contraband that may have evaded detection at the immediate border.
