Transforming Education for the Future Act

This bill:

  • Authorizes extensive taxpayer-funded grants to establish "full-service community schools" that provide comprehensive, non-academic support services to students and their local communities;

  • Explicitly permits local educational agencies to use these grant funds to provide "immigration-related legal services" and assistance with "green card or citizenship preparation" to alien students and their families; and

  • Fails to establish any citizenship or legal immigration status verification requirements, allowing these taxpayer-subsidized educational, social, and legal services to be fully accessed by illegal aliens.
