Emergency Grant Aid for College Students Act

This bill amends Title VII of the Higher Education Act of 1965 to establish an emergency grant aid program authorizing the Secretary of Education to provide federal taxpayer funds to institutions of higher education. The text expressly prohibits institutions and the Secretary of Education from determining that an individual is ineligible for emergency financial aid grants on the basis of citizenship, alienage, or immigration status, thereby directly authorizing federal cash assistance to aliens, including illegal aliens.
