Voter Empowerment Act of 2026

This bill massively expands automatic voter registration, including to agencies like universities, which don't rigorously check alien status. Further, the bill explicitly states that an individual shall not be adversely affected in any civil adjudication concerning immigration status or naturalization, nor prosecuted, if they are not eligible to vote but are automatically registered. Further, it prohibits states from requiring notaries for mail-in voting, severly limits voter purges (which would include illegal aliens), and requires USCIS to automatically transmit the data of individuals who have completed the naturalization process directly to state election officials.
