Stop Excessive Force in Immigration Act of 2026

This bill:

  • Codifies use of force policies for immigration enforcement.
  • Bars the use of masks by immigration enforcement officers.
  • Prohibits the use of flash bangs, rubber bullets, pepper balls, and tear gas.
  • Requires the use of body cameras. 
  • Requires immigration enforcement officials to notify local authorities before conducting operations.
