Stop Human Trafficking of Unaccompanied Migrant Children Act of 2025

This bill establishes vetting standards for unaccompanied alien children (UACs) prior to being placed with sponsors in the United States, including monitoring visits and monthly reports. While the bill does restrict UACs from being placed with illegal aliens in the U.S., it unfortunately allows for UACs to be placed with illegal alien parents, guardians, and family members. So while the bill would help prevent child trafficking, it would not stop child smuggling.
