American Tech Workforce Act

This bill makes significant reforms to improve the H-1B program. It-

  • Ends Optional Practical Training (OPT);
  • Establishes a $150,000 wage floor for all H-1Bs;
  • Limits H-1Bs working for a third-party to 1 year;
  • Prioritizes the awarding of H-1Bs based on wage level offered.
