This bill purports to "recapture" thousands of "unused visas," providing 25,000 immigrant visas for nurses and up to 15,000 immigrant visas for physicians, as well as recaptured visas for immediate family members of such individuals. The visas are exempt from the per-country caps, and the government is required to provide premium processing to expedite decisions.
