Community-based Refugee Reception Act of 2025

This bill establishes a program within the United States Refugee Admission Program, to be known as the ‘Community-based Refugee Reception Program’, which shall use community sponsorship, private sponsorship, and partnerships between resettlement agencies and community groups to provide refugees with initial resettlement services. The legislation also waives numerical caps for aliens admitted under this new program.
