SAFE HIRE Act
This bill amends the Securities Exchange Act to require that officers of publicly traded companies certify their compliance with employment eligibility verification laws (using the I-9 or E-Verify) in their annual reports, with severe penalties for false certifications or hiring illegal aliens.
