Non-Domiciled CDL Reporting Act

This bill requires state driver licensing agencies to report information regarding non-domiciled commercial driver's licenses to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). The FMCSA will then use the federal SAVE system to check the legal status of these license holders. If a driver is found to have an unlawful presence in the United States, their information is forwarded to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to investigate if they are eligible for removal.
