Protecting Our Communities Act

This bill:

  • Requires immigration enforcement officers to wear body cameras.
  • Requires official insignia on the uniforms of immigration enforcement officers and bans face coverings.
  • Requires de-escalation training. 
  • Requires notification to local law enforcement before immigration enforcement operations are conducted within their jurisdiction.
