Stop COYOTES Act

This bill increases penalties for offenses involving children or in areas frequented by children (like schools and playgrounds). It also requires DHS to share information it collects with Congress, ICE, CBP, local police located on the border, and police working within 100 miles of the border, including-

  • Unlawful entry of aliens;
  • Human and sex trafficking;
  • Smuggling, abuse, and kidnapping of aliens;
  • Smuggling of controlled substances and firearms; and
  • Involvement of gangs and transnational criminal organizations in these activities.
