Immigrants in Nursing and Allied Health Act of 2026

This bill authorizes the Secretary of Health and Human Services to award grants to state, local, and tribal governments and private organizations to subsidize education, licensing, living stipends, and English classes for lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, and other work-authorized aliens, including illegal aliens granted administrative work authorization, to become nurses or allied health professionals. It also waives citizenship and national requirements, allowing these aliens to serve in the National Health Service Corps and receive taxpayer-funded scholarships and loan repayment benefits.
