American Tariff Rebate Act

This bill:

  • Cancels $46.55 billion in unobligated federal funding appropriated for southern border wall systems and physical security infrastructure;

  • Rescinds $45 billion appropriated for detention bed capacity needed to hold illegal aliens awaiting removal; and

  • Distributes advance refundable tax rebates of up to $2,000 per filer and $600 per dependent that exclude nonresident aliens, but fails to prevent illegal aliens who obtain administrative work authorization from receiving taxpayer payouts.
