Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer said the creation of the Office of Immigration Policy, which will report directly to her, demonstrates the Trump administration's commitment to cutting red tape, according to an internal memo obtained by POLITICO.

News reports indicate that an internal memo was created within the Secretary of Labor's office. There has been no formal public announcement.
